Have you entered my Aurorae giveaway yet? Either way, read on for Number 2 of my 3 birthday giveaways!

Smart Food

Today’s lunch was just so pretty (and delicious!), that I had to share.

More No-Heat Oatmeal! I mixed:

…and let it sit for 20 minutes. Topped with:

So many delicious textures and flavors. After a too-small breakfast, I was really craving a good, hearty lunch…this hit the spot!

Smart Fitness

The Yogalosophy (Mandy Ingber) DVD that I ordered last week finally arrived, so I had to try it out today! One of my friends (and bridesmaid!) Kari takes classes with Mandy and recommended the DVD to me.

Hi, Kari! :)

I will do a full review once I’ve had a chance to try all the routines on the DVD, but let’s just say I was shaking for a good 45 minutes after one of the 30-minute workouts!

Smart Life

Remember when I went to Fitbloggin‘?

Well, the conference t-shirts were not only cute and super-comfortable, but performance tees to boot! The maker of the shirts, Thriv Natural Performance, is offering one of these amazing t-shirts (like the one below, or the men’s version of it) for one Savvy Eater for my second birthday giveaway!

201004262330.jpg 201004272316.jpg

Unlike most technical wear, Thriv is made of a blend of cotton and bamboo… a natural alternative that still effectively fights stink and sweat! The best features in my opinion, though?

1. The price. Much more affordable than many types of fitness gear!
2. The comfort. I would wear Thriv clothes every day. That is, if I had more than the one t-shirt… ;)

To enter, simply go to the ThrivNP website and tell me which item you’d most want to own… it is that easy!

I’ll pick a winner on Monday, May 3!

Check back later for birthday giveaway 3…the last of the week!

Swag bags sound AMAZING.

I would love to own the Long-Sleeve Training V. I’ve committed myself to running outside (as opposed to the gym) as much as possible to train for my first 5K, and one of my biggest obstacles is getting my butt out there when it’s chilly out (I live in NY). A cute, comfy long-sleeved t shirt would definitely give me some inspiration :)

Birthday week giveaways are AWESOME. I would love the Black Elizabeth Razorback. Would be perfect for my 10K and the Half coming up. I’ll have to look into Thriv if I don’t win *crosses fingers*

The no-heat oatmeal sounds interesting. I’ll have to give that a try sometime. Sounds like the texture would be really interesting with oats and greek yogurt. I’ll give it a try with regular yogurt first since I’m out of Greek.
