Birthday Giveaways: Part 3 of 3!

Happy weekend, friends! This post is going to be short and sweet… I am wiped!

In trying to finish up our senior design capstone project, we spent a good 16 hours in a conference room over the course of 27 hours. Phew!

These two days may have been rough on the schoolwork front, but on the bright side, I at least have a lot to look forward to this weekend!

On the books for Saturday?

Early birthday lunch with my family, since they will be in town for….

My bridal shower!

AND, we have my bachelorette party in the evening.

So you have a fun recap headed your way on Monday. :)

Before I go, I wanted to announce Birthday Giveaway #3…

Golden Moon’s Coconut Pouchong Tea.

I have always really wanted to like green tea, but so many of them taste so ‘grassy’ and ‘green’ to me, and I haven’t adjusted to the taste. Luckily, Golden Moon sent me a sample of the Coconut Pouchong tea last week, and I’m really enjoying it!

Unlike most green teas, the Coconut Pouchong is very mild in flavor, with a light, sweet coconut aftertaste. It does smell a bit like rice when it is brewed, which was a little off-putting at first, but it certainly doesn’t taste like it! So far, I think this is my favorite green tea because of the lighter flavor.

Want to try some yourself? Golden Moon has generously offered to send one reader a 2.2 oz tin of Coconut Pouchong, just like the one I received.

To enter, visit Golden Moon’s site and tell me which tea you would most want to try.

Winner will be announced on Monday, May 3!

Honestly, the Coconut Pouchong looks great especially since it was awarded best tea in 2007! I’m such a tea person. I just relaxes me (and gives me energy if it is green tea). I hope you are having a great weekend so far, and maybe had some time for some sleep girl!

Honey Pear? – delightful!
White Persian Melon? – exotically sweet!
Kashmiri Chai? – oh i love chai so much and this one sounds so rich!
Rose Tea? – this would be GREAT for a tea party with the girls! (with SOMEONES famous scones. ahem.) how dainty.

ok. im going to stop now before i list the entire product list.

aha! maybe i should just buy myself the Tea Taster’s Sampler!!! (after madison, of course!!!)

The vanilla mint green tea sounds delightful, but then again, I have a weakness for any tea with mint in it.

I love that mug! It’s adorable!

I’ve never heard of the brand Golden Moon — thanks for the introduction! Aside from wanting to sample the coconut, the White Licorice is very intriguing.

Enjoy your festivities!
