A few weeks ago, Jessica and I decided to exchange food packages. I love this girl. She provides me with lots of fantastic dessert recipes, killer workouts, and helps me dodge food guilt. We decided to send each other some local food from our respective cities.
Since it is difficult to find Pittsburgh-specific food that ships well, I got some other goodies in my package as well!
For fun, she included some cute wedding stuff. (How did she know that I scrapbook?)
And in honor of the holidays, I got some fun Christmas plates. These are the perfect size for appetizers and snacks. I may or may not be planning on eating some cookie dough truffles off of these as soon as I press “publish”…
Some snowflake cookie cutters. Aka, my first cookie cutters of my own. And I have a sugar cookie mix that needs to be baked up… perfect!
And finally, some chocolate and a personal note. Probably my favorite part of the package. I especially can’t wait to try the Lindt with Sea Salt chocolate.
There were some Mint M&M’s in there too, but that picture didn’t quite work out…

Side note: I apologize for the quality of the pictures. While they are still better than any I could have taken with my point-and-shoot, they were taken in the evening in our not-well-lit apartment. Our camera ate the old ones I took!
