Last night, Dan and I had breakfast for dinner. I wanted to try one of the Brunch recipes from the Bluephies cookbook to show you this week, so I chose Chocolate French Toast.

I loved the rich chocolate flavor, offset by the warmth of the spices. If you like Green & Black’s Maya Gold chocolate, or similar ‘spicy’ chocolates, you’ll love this french toast! And if you don’t, then you can just leave the spices out of your batter.
I topped this with a chocolate cherry topping I whipped up. Hey, I didn’t promise you a healthy breakfast-for-dinner meal! A berry syrup would be great on top too.
