In Lieu of Resolutions…

Well, it’s official. After hearing about Heather’s 101 in 1001 list, I’ve been thinking of starting my own.

So today, in lieu of making New Year’s Resolutions, I am launching my 101 in 1001 project.

I divided my list into categories. Some items will help me grow my blog and freelance business. Some will help me be fit. Some will challenge me in the kitchen. And others will simply be fun.

Not only will I be blogging about the 101 items as I complete them, but I will also be creating subpages for the 1001 blogs I comment on, 101 books I read, and more.

Anyone else currently working on a 101 in 1001 project, or thinking of starting one? I’d love to see your lists!

Alternatively, is anyone making New Year’s Resolutions?

Yup, I have one of my own. It ends in August, I think. I’ll probably start up a 30 before 30 at that point though because I’m turning 30 in October. Accomplishing 30 things in about 3 months might seem like a lot, but I’ll try to work with attainable goals. Then I’ll create a new 101 list later.

Go you! I was thinking about doing 101 in 1001 as well, but then sort of chickened out. I really want to do a list together with my husband, but he’s a little less into this sort of thing than I am. Also, I just made 8 new years resolutions, so I may be a little goaled out for now. I love your list though!

Damn! That is seriously ambitious and awesome. Can’t wait to follow along as you make progress. I don’t think I have it in me to come up with a 101 in 1001 list but it is about time for me to take a stab at a bucket list.

I set some 2011 resolutions, but I like to make monthly goals, too and I’ve contemplated doing the 101 in 1001. Maybe my April or May goal will be to make my list and then I can start it in June! Good luck with you 101. I’m excited to follow your progress.

I’m doing something similar to what Suki is doing – writing a list of 31 things to do before I turn 31 in late August – so that’s about the same rate as your 101 in 1001. The one I am most excited about is the goal to bench press my own weight at least once :).
