You probably have all your holiday shopping done. But did you remember the stockings? The host/hostess gifts to take to all the holiday parties? Here are a few little last-minute gift ideas, especially for your foodie friends. Most of these can be found at most grocery stores or specialty food stores.
1. Pretty baker’s twine, like this roll from Crate and Barrel. I’ve even found some cute colors in the baking section of Michael’s!

2. Tea Ball Infuser and small bag of tea. Don’t even pretend to be surprised that tea made this list.

3. Silicone pinch bowls, like these from Le Creuset.
4. Cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans.
5. Cocoa cones!
6. Cute condiment spoons. I love my little Crate & Barrel spoons!

7. Chocolate. You can’t go wrong with chocolate.
8. Unique measuring spoons, like these from Anthropologie.
9. Cute spice jars, like these from Anthropologie. It may be a good thing we don’t have an Anthropologie in Ithaca… all these cute kitchen gadgets and clothes would be hard to pass up!

#7 is my favorite (unsurprisingly).
I want the silicone pinch bowls and the unique measuring spoons! What a great idea.
my mom always gave my dad a beer stocking growing up. she would research new beers and talk to people at the store and then buy him individual bottles to try. she wrapped each one up and we would all sit there and watch him open them. now i do the same thing with my husband and he loves it!
Great idea for a guy’s gift…they can be so hard to shop for!
I love all of this! I too am a sucker for all things Anthropologie
I also have really been craving some good baker’s twine! (you know you’re a food blogger when…)
i am a BIG fan of those measuring spoons.
and i am sure melissa is going to be THRILLED that you linked to her post. she is loving her instant popularity
I have one of those Anthro spice jars and I’m OBSESSED. I should have bought the whole set! I agree that they’d make a fantastic gift – they hold a lot and seal up very tightly. The spoons on the other hand… I don’t have that set, but I have a different one from there and I don’t think the measurements are very accurate.
I SO want some of those spice jars!
And good to know about the measuring spoons! Guess they’d be more decorative than anything…
The jars are well worth the $4.
The spoons are ok for cooking, when it doesn’t matter as much if things are slightly off. I don’t trust them for baking though.
I’ve always been obsessed with Anthropologie’s measuring spoons– but I’ve never seen the spice jars! They’re adorable!
I like to buy the mini booze bottles from BevMo
Not for kids, of course.
Good suggestions! Chocolate is a must. Billy’s family puts lottery tickets and gift cards in stockings. Last year, I won $20 and got a gift certificate for a manicure. Also, for girls, it’s fun to have little things like nail polish, lip gloss, etc.
