Guess what I’m doing in the morning?
Canning strawberry preserves. Canning for the first time this season.
I’m ridiculously excited about this. As in, bouncing in my seat excited.
Am I the only crazy one who is this thrilled to start canning again?

I love how much you can! I can’t wait to live in a bigger place and get organized to be able to do that too!

Going picking on Friday or Sunday and then canning early next week. Super excited. I missed out on canning strawberries last year. I didn’t start until blueberries.
Me too! Missed strawberries and started with cherries
I’ve never canned before! I adore the shape of the teeny tiny can on the very right.

I love canning! I don’t usually can my strawberries though (we have a big patch in our yard). I freeze them whole because we drink smoothies daily! Saves money in the winter, plus I hate buying produce out of season!
Thanks for getting me excited about the harvest to come!

I’m SO Excited to can later this summer! We don’t have anything to can yet, but I’m waiting for our tomatoes to start coming in
I so wish we lived closer and could have canning parties!
Ooh good for you. No canning yet for me, but I did just sort through all my canning jars…A baby step, but a step nonetheless.

No, you are not crazy. I, too, am super excited to start canning, which you’re partially to blame for. Thanks! I think I’m going to skip strawberries though. As much as I love them fresh, I’m not a big fan of preserved strawberries. I’m really really looking forward to tomatoes, apples, green beans and pears though!
I’ve been canning a ton already. Aspragus Pickles, Radish pickles and some rhubarb compote. We haven’t had enough strawberries yet but I’m hoping to get some this weekend!
