Thanks for all your votes on our dining room paint color! Shortly after posting the poll, I realized I didn’t set it up very well. The three gold options split the vote, and I really should have left it as gold v. green. Oops!
As it stands, we are currently planning on painting the dining room gold. Our couch is bright red, so the more we think about it, the more it feels like the green paint in the adjoining room would be too “Christmas-y.” Great in December, not so much the rest of the year.
Next up? The office.
I’m so excited to have a dedicated workspace in the house, something I only kind of have in our apartment. My computer + work desk will be in the bay window, and the craft table will be on the opposite wall.
We’re 99% sure that we’re going to paint the office blue. It is currently a deep purple/brown color, and while it’s a nice color, it isn’t what I want for a workspace. I think I want something a little lighter and brighter to boost productivity and focus.
Now we just have to decide among these three blues.

The first blue is bright and a little bold.

The second blue is pale, with a grey undertone.

The final option is another grey-based blue, but darker and deeper than the other two.
Which would you choose?

For me, I would go with #1 — I love bright vibrant colors! But I think #2 is more you. #3 is depressing!
I think you’re right that #2 is more “me”!
Option 1 ( I voted above as well!) I think the other 2 would put me to sleep which would not be good for productivity!

the greyish blue tones are ALWAYS on my list of favorite shades. LOVE.
I vote number one but I live in Oregon where the sky is gray for months at at time. I couldn’t handle walls with gray undertones in this climate!

The last one for sure!!!!!
I love number three! I like mellow, calming tones though. The decision to not go green bc of the red couch makes a lot of sense.

I vote for #2 – it’s similar to what I have in my living room and it does nicely with some natural light, which you seem to have a lot of. It’s kind of sky-colored and always makes me feel like I live in a treehouse when I’m near the windows.
