Healthy Ashley is hosting a bake sale next Tuesday, December 1. Proceeds will benefit her Team in Training efforts for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The really cool part? All of the baked goods will be vegan and/or gluten-free!
I offered to bake something yummy for the sale.
Of course, this meant I needed to spend some time experimenting with vegan baking. More time in the kitchen? Yeah, life is hard.
I’m not releasing the recipe yet, but I will say it involves flax “eggs” as an ingredient!
And so I present to you,
Sea Salt & Dark Chocolate Cherry Scones:
Salty and Sweet. A bit of rich chocolate with sweet-tart Bing cherries. Delicious.
