THIS TIME its because i am on a mission for my favorite of your food photos. i will explain this to you indepth sometime this weekend, im sure, but the short story is- i am obsessed with the idea of decorating my apartment with the creative work of the people I love. I have a painting for my friend Tim, and a photo from Michelle Palmer Photography, not to mention my Jenna Cole prints of me and the girls... and ive been dreaming of making my kitchen look pretty by displaying photos of great food by my great blends. i already have a list of photos of yours im going to steal. and by steal, i mean, of course, ask for your permission. anyway. i had ALMOST forgotten taht i was an idiot this december and boarded the wrong plane. Looks like you're having a great year planned for 2010. I wanted to let you know that you might want to look into Cornell's wine class...I think it's run through their hospitality school. It's actually a really challenging course, and for all I know it's for students only, but I knew a girl that took it and she learned a lot about wine...and they did tastings in every class! If that's not an option, definitely take advantage of living in NY's wine country...go out to the wineries and ask lots of questions! My favorite winery in the Ithaca area is Lucas. Hey! Or if you can go on a tour :) It's such fun learning about different wines. I'm trying to learn how to pair them with foods. Another goal of mine is to train for a sprint tri.
