We rang in the New Year with friends and games and food and a well-stocked bar. I served homemade pasta with ragu sauce, beef braised in Barbera wine, two types of crostini, stuffed mushrooms, roasted carrots, clementine pound cake and cookie dough egg rolls, along with some other little snacky dishes.
I was particularly proud of the pasta. Homemade pasta had long been on my “make this someday” list, and I really feel like I’ve gotten the hang of it this year. But it got me thinking…what else is on my “make this someday” list? Hopefully, this 2013 Food Bucket List will be a bit easier to keep up with than my 101 in 1001 list!
