So often, we get caught up in our day to day routines and forget to appreciate the little things in life. In my Little Things series, I like to honor the details that are making me happy today. Now, I ask my readers to send me a photo and note about what is making THEM happy today.
Liz says,
I wanted to send you some “little things” pictures from my recent trip to the NY State Fair…
1. 25 cent chocolate milk – fresh from NY dairies – can it really get much better?!

2. You should have seen this rooster. My best friend and I were mid conversation when we both saw this rooster and said “oh my god!!” the feathers were out of control
3. Pretty cows.
4. Butter sculpture – this year’s theme was “Dairyville” – an entire community running on farm energy.

You, too, can be a part of “The Little Things: Reader Submissions” page! Send me a photo of one of the “little things” making you happy today, along with a short note. You do NOT have to be a blogger to take part, but if you have a blog, I will link back to you. Send your submissions tosavvyjulie@gmail.com, with “The Little Things” as the subject line!

OK I was loving the cows, until I saw the Butter Sculpture. Is that where Paula Deen lives when she’s not in GA?
Thank you for posting my little things, Julie!
