Miss anything?
We had about an hour and a half between the ceremony and reception so that the people at the museum could tear down the ceremony set-up and put everything together for the reception. Some of our guests toured the galleries the museum had opened specifically for us, while others went out and explored State Street or relaxed and chatted. We, on the other hand, took pictures!
The pictures of us with our families and wedding party need little explanation, I think!

Spinning on State Street, with the Capitol building in the background.

With my family.

With Dan’s family

The most awkward pictures to take EVER, but they turned out well!
We also took some pictures of just the girls, then just the guys, towards the end of the reception:

This picture makes me laugh, every time. Especially because Joel (on the right) and his bride did their Grand March to the Superman song at their own wedding 2 weeks later!
Our photographer was kind enough to stay after the reception to get some more shots of Dan and I, both so that we could spend more time at the reception and so that the lighting would be better:

I love your pics! SO sweet. It’s funny how the most awkward-feeling poses can come out so well, isn’t it?
