My menu is:

Apps – crackers & boursin

Main – turkey, of course!

Sides- mashed potatoes (Pioneer Woman’s recipe), mac n cheese (also a PW recipe), sausage dressing, roasted sweet potatoes, coleslaw, cranberry salad, rolls with strawberry jam

Dessert – pecan pie, pumpkin pie, dutch apple pie, pumpkin bread

Whewwwww – full just thinking about it! ;)

Oh my Lord…carmelized onion mashed potatoes!?!?! *faint*

I’m making turkey (for “leftovers” but we switch it out b/c granny’s is a little dry *wink*), homemade stuffing and light pumpkin pie. (See my comment luv below for the recipe. Sooo yummy!)

Enjoy the holiday!

I can’t wait till I can host Thanksgiving! I love hosting parties but
A. Thanksgiving is kinda my grandma’s thing now so I don’t wanna intrude! and B. I don’t have a house to host it in…would make things tricky

I am making some banana pumpkin muffins (based on a banana pumpkin bread I made: http://semihealthnut.blogspot.com/2011/08/banana-pumpkin-breadfall-is-sooner-than.html)

Also trying a new recipe (crossing my fingers it’s good) that I found while blog-surfing and added to my Friday Favs: http://semihealthnut.blogspot.com/2011/11/friday-five-foodie-finds-8-fall-food.html

Good luck with hosting, although it looks like have everything under control. Lists are the best! Happy Thanksgiving! <3
