Smoky Curried Popcorn

Confession:

I have a popcorn problem. If you offer me popcorn as a snack, I will always accept.

Confession:

Dan makes fun of me whenever I suggest making some. “I’m shocked that you’d want popcorn,” he says.

Confession:

While I usually pop some in just a little canola oil and sprinkle with a bit of salt or Garlic Gold, sometimes I want something more adventurous.

Truth:

Grated cheese does not stick well to popcorn unless you add lots of butter. Which kind of defeats the “healthy snack” aspect.

Truth:

Making your own popcorn seasoning is SO fun. And cheap.

Confession:

Friends and family, many of you may be getting popcorn seasoning, packaged with some kernels, as birthday, holiday or host(ess) gifts.

Because seriously, savory healthy snacks don’t get much more delicious than this.
