Italy: The Food Awards (Part 1)

One of the main reasons we chose our particular bike tour for our honeymoon was the food. The itinerary included such activities as wine tastings, olive oil tastings, cooking demonstrations and truffle hunting. Plus, it was in Italy, so the food was pretty much guaranteed to be noteworthy and fantastic!

There was far too much fabulous food for me to include it all in one post, so be prepared for part 2 tomorrow. And please excuse the graininess of some of the photos– some of these were taken in darkened restaurants. ;)

Back from Italy!

I’m back! We loved every moment of our trip to Italy. The scenery was gorgeous, the cycling was great, the food was fantastic, and we had 11 days of unplugged quality time. I am way jet-lagged, so full recaps will begin tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s a little preview.
